Aizawl Battalion of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized medical camps at all company operating bases in Aizawl on 23 Aug 2022.
A total of 136 locals attended the same.
The aim of the camps was to provide medical treatment to the local populace by a specially constituted medical team of Aizawl Battalion.
Apart from providing medical assistance, basic knowledge on health education including precautions from common viral diseases was also imparted. Emphasis on the importance of hygiene and sanitation were explained to the villagers for better living standards.
Villagers appreciated the efforts of security forces and conveyed their heartfelt thanks to them for addressing their urgent medical needs by providing them with timely medical aid.
