As part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and run up to the 90th Air force day IAF Symphony Orchestra mesmerized the Kolkata audience with their scintillating performance at Kala Mandir on 31 Aug 22. Governor of West Bengal La Ganesan was the chief guest for the function. Senior ministers and functionaries of the Government of West Bengal also attended the event.
Air Marshal DK Patnaik Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Air Command extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the IAF.
The event gave an opportunity to the Kolkata audience to connect with the IAF. The audience deeply appreciated the performance, evident from the thunderous applause after each symphony.
