Indian Air Force (IAF) is conducting Induction Publicity programmes across the Eastern region of India to motivate aspiring youth to join the Indian Air Force. The Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) visited North Bengal University (NBU), Kendriya Vidyalaya Bagdogra and Salesian College at Bagdogra and encouraged college students to opt for a career in the IAF. A motivational lecture was conducted by the IAF followed by a question- answer session. The college students were also exposed to various mediums like flying simulator, touch screen kiosks and miniature aircraft models in the IPEV to enhance their knowledge and awareness. The drive benefited over 1200 students who were curious to learn various facets of the IAF. The drive is on till 06 Oct 2022 and will also visit colleges of Tezpur, Guwahati and Shillong.
