No Corruption; Assam Police firm with motto as “red-handed” arrests continue!

Assam Police in association with the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (VAC) continues the fight against corrupt practices among government employees, following the call for transparency in the system of governance by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Today morning, Kamini Narzary, Forester Grade B and Prabin Brahma, Forest Guard, have been trapped and arrested red handed today by team of VAC while accepting demanded money for for regularising a forest case at Gossaigaon, Kokrajhar.

Day before yesterday, Hari Das Singha, Lat Mondal of Patharighat Circle Officer Darrang District has been trapped and arrested red handed by team of VAC while accepting demanded money for land mutation of the complainant.

On Saturday last week, Sub Inspector Anup Kataki of Kachua PS Nagaon has been trapped and arrested red handed by team of VAC while accepting demanded money for facilitating bail matter of complainant.

On the 26th of last month, Azharul Islam District Programme Officer, Sarva Siksha Abhijan Mission, Dhubri has been trapped and arrested red handed by team of VAC while accepting demanded money for releasing outstanding salary of the complainant.

On the same day last month, Ranjan Goswami, Chanchal, Lat Mondal Karimganj Sadar Circle has been trapped and arrested red handed by team of VAC while accepting demanded money for mutation of land of the complainant.
