It is said that getting blood on time to the injured person in an accident is like getting another life. That is why blood donation is called Mahadaan and Border Security Force personnel never lag behind in this donation. Thus, on Sunday, September 11, 2022, Santipur Poornima Milan Club organized a blood donation camp at Chakphera Goswami Temple in Santipur in honor of Indian security Forces. Shri Sanjay Kumar, DIG, BSF Sector Krishnanagar and Chief Guest Shri Ujjwal Biswas, Minister of West Bengal Government started the program by lighting the lamp. Some children presented cultural programme. After that 13 BSF personnel of sector headquarter Kriahnanagar donated blood voluntarily. However, there was a long queue of blood donors.
On this occasion, Club Secretary Rupayan Choudhary and other members thanked the BSF while expressing their gratitude.
Shri Sanjay Kumar, DIG, Sector Krishnanagar said that we are very happy that general public also organises such program in honor of Indian security Forces. He further said that we all should donate blood in life.
