Two days National poetry Conference begins at Ledo.

The two days National Poetry Conference on 12th and 13th September is going to be held in Ledu, known as coal Queen of India which is organised by “Kavyadhvani” Assam in collaboration with at S.G Hub Tower Bargolai.


The conference will held near the beautiful scenario of the famous Patkai Mountains.


The conference will be attended by renowned poet and poetess such as Dr. Suresh Pandey, Prashann Behera, Nahid Akhtar, Urana Basu, Pansuri Sinha, Chandan Bhattacharya, Dr. Anik Chatterjee, Rajarshi Patranavish and Sarabjit Sarkar. The conference will be attended by three renowned poets from Bangladesh and South Korea, Abumusa Arif Billa, Md. Akkash Ali and Aziz Rahman Taj. There are many poets from different parts of India as well as Assam who have participated in two days National poetry Conference at Ledu. The program will be inaugurated by Kavyadhwani President Dr. Ranjit Dutta at the Evening after a formal welcome ceremony for the poets. The conference will be inaugurated by prominent poet Neelim Kumar and the Souvenir of this programme will be launched by Dr. Shashikant Saikia, Principal, Kanai College, Dibrugarh. The National Poets’ Conference will be held on the second day which will also feature the launch of several books. The main program on September 13 will include poetry poetry fair and exchange of views from all the present poet and poetess along with cultural dance and songs. The organizers are looking forward to the cooperation of everyone in this conference.
