AS A GESTURE OF HUMANITY AND GOODWILL, BSF HANDED OVER 03 BANGLADESHI NATIONALS TO BGB, APPREHENDED ON THE BORDER

On 17th September, 2022, troops of Border Out Post Madhupur, 68 Battalion under South Bengal Frontier apprehended 03 Bangladeshi nationals, while illegally entering into Indian territory. They were identified as Rabina Akhtar (28), Rehana Mandal (32) and her 6 year old daughter Kavina Mandal, Bangladesh.

During interrogation, Rabina Akhtar revealed that she was coming to Delhi to work. Rehana Mandal revealed that that she was coming to India with her daughter for self treatment.

The Border Security Force handed over all of them to the BGB due to humanity and goodwill.

The Commanding Officer of the 68 Battalion stated that the BSF is taking strict measures to prevent infiltration along the Indo-Bangladesh Border. Due to which people are getting apprehended continuously. In view of the seriousness of the crime of those apprehended, innocent persons are handed over to the BGB as a gesture of goodwill and humanity.
