As the country celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, commemorating 75 years of independence, the Eastern Air Command of Indian Air Force in association with the Government of Assam is organizing a grand event at Lachit Ghat on 27th Sep 22 (Tuesday) from 1025 am to 1100 am in the morning. There will be a spectacular air show over the beautiful Brahmaputra River by the famous Suryakiran Aerobatic Display Team of the Indian Air Force, popularly known as the SKAT, one of the few 9 aircraft aerobatic teams in the world.
The air show is being organized to mark the glorious journey of our nation on the path of growth and achievements in the past 75 years. The airshow can be witnessed from 1025 am to 1100 am on the morning of 27th Sep 22 (Tuesday) from the banks of the Brahmaputra along Lachit Ghat, Kachari Ghat and Ozan Bazaar Ghat and also from the northern bank.
