Digboi Excise Circle and Bordumsa police jointly conducted a raid on friday afternoon where an Excise Case No DIG/EX/2022/730 under section 53(1)(a) and 54 of Assam Excise Act 2000(as amended) was registered at Digboi Excise Circle against three persons apprehended.
The three accused were identified as Arun Moran(34) S/o Late Jiten Moran from Bokapother village, labonu Sonowal(22) S/o Monuranjan Sonowal and Porag Hazarika(24) S/o Sri Sanjeep Hazarika both from No 2 Hollong village ,Nagaon.
All the three apprehended persons were sent to judicial custody as per order of Honorable SDJM Court, Margherita.
The Excise Party seized Beer 24 cases
(288 BL), IMFL 3 cases (25.52 BL) all earmarked for sale in Arunachal Pradesh and one vehicle bearing Registration number AR-13-6482 were seized in the exercise.
