Radhanagar Battalion of 21 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), recovered Yaba tablets (Qty – 2000 tablets) worth Rs 10,00,000/- in general area Lafasail village, Karimganj district on 25 Sep 2022.
Based on the information recieved, a patrolling was launched by a joint team of Assam Rifles from Radhanagar post of Radhanagar Battalion,BSF of Lakhi Bazar BOP and Girishganj watch post of Karimganj Police.The patrolling party observed one black packet wherein 2000 yaba tablets were recovered and siezed in village Lafasail North.
Approximate cost of the recovered Yaba tablets is Rs 10,00,000/-. The seized items was handed over to Karimganj Police Station, Karimganj district, Assam on 25 Sep 2022 for further investigation & legal proceedings.
