Celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, on 12 Oct 2022, a weapon exhibition was organized by 04 Bn under BSF Meghalaya in the Bakur area of West Jaintia Hills district. The program was organised to exhibit the latest defence weapons and equipment used by BSF to thwart anti-national elements.
More than 500 people including school children were offered to have a glimpse of modern weapons possessed by the Border Security Force through a series of interactive displays. During the event, the children were thrilled to have a close look at these weapons and to know about their capabilities of these lethal weapons. Sh Alphonous Khonglah, General Secretary of the area was the chief guest during the event and appreciated the initiative of BSF.
