On 23rd October, 2022 from 1100 hrs to 1500 hrs, a Diwali festival fair was organized at the premises of South Bengal Frontier Headquarters.
As every year, this year also the Battalions under South Bengal Frontier organized various programs.
Dr. Rupali Fulzele, president of BWWA of South Bengal Frontier, inaugurated the fair by cutting ribon and lighting a lamp. Dr. Atul Fulzele, Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier (IPS), senior officers of the force, jawans and their families attended the fair.
South Bengal Frontier and the Battalions coming under it organized colorful programs like stalls of delicious food, different types of games, Jazz music, lottery, children’s run, tug-of-war and painting etc. for the personnel of force and their families involved in the fair. The personnel and their families who came to the fair enjoyed and appreciated all the programs very much.
In the end, the Inspector General rewarded the first, second and third category winners in various games and lotteries organized in the fair with cash and gifts. He conveyed the auspicious festival of Diwali to all the personnel of the force and their families and wished them good health.
