The Indian Team comprising of 6 (six) members including Sumit Mukherjee and Debabrata Majumdar has won the Bronze Medal in the just concluded 4th Asia Cup Bridge Championship held at Jakarta. This Championship was played from 19th to 25th October’2022 in which 11 countries participated. Sumit Mukherjee and Debabrata Majumdar, both are the staff of Metro Railway, Kolkata.
Prior to this success, Mukherjee and Majumdar won bronze medal in Jakarta Asian Game in 2018. Apart from this, Sumit and Debabrata have won many National and International titles.
Congratulating them for this success, Arun Arora, General Manager, Metro Railway has wished them all the best for the forthcoming tournaments. He has expressed his hope that both these bridge players will continue bringing laurels for Indian Railways and the country as well.
