A person identified as Siddhartha Rajkhowa was shot at by unidentified miscreants at Laluka area in Dibrugarh town along the NH-37 at around 5.30pm on Monday while returning home on his motorcycle.
The man sustained bullet injury on the right side of his abdomen and was been rushed to the Assam Medical College and Hospital. Police have detained two relatives of the victim for questioning.
The incident is suspected to be a fallout of a property related one as the person owned several real estate properties in the town which has car and motorcycle showrooms.
