Zonal level debate competition was organized on 31st October, 2022 under Frontier Headquarters BSF South Bengal at Digberia, Kolkata. The main subject of the competition was “Maintenance of Human Rights by Security Forces is not a hindrance to National Security”. Personnel from various organizations of Central Police Forces expressed their positive and negative views on the subject. This time the Border Security Force was given the responsibility of organizing the East Zone debate competition.
05 teams from various organizations of Central Security Forces participated in this competition mainly teams from BSF, CRPF, CISF, SSB and RPF. It was mandatory to speak only 02 languages in Hindi and English for the debate competition. Each contestant had to speak on his topic for 05 minutes.
The result of the competition was declared by 03 members of the jury which mainly included retired officers of police forces Shri Naparajit Mukherjee, IPS, Shri Rajat Kumar Majumdar, IPS and Shri Sameer Kumar Mitra, DIG, BSF.
Dr. Atul Fulzele, Inspector General of South Bengal Frontier, IPS and senior officers of the force were also present in this program. In this competition, the first, second and third prize in Hindi language were won by the personnel of SSB, RPF and BSF respectively. Personnel of CRPF, SSB and CISF forces stood first, second and third in English language respectively.
In the end, the winners of various forces participating in the competition were awarded with first, second and third prizes and secured their place in the semi-finals.
