Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati interacted with the cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from Sri Ramachandra Medical College(SRMC), Chennai.
The group of doctors, at the behest of Pu Kulothungan A, Deputy Commissioner of Lunglei District, will be conducting a 3-day Medical Camp from November 10 to 12, 2022 at Civil Hospital, Lunglei.
Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati welcomed his guests and thanked them for their samaritan works in Mizoram.
He shared his expectation that more free medical camps such as this would be held in the future in other districts as well. He also congratulated Pu Kulothungan A, Deputy Commissioner of Lunglei District for successfully arranging free medical camp for heart patients and cancer patients at their doorsteps.
The cardiologists and cardiac surgeons would be joined by a group of Oncologists from Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research centre. 150 plus heart patients and cancer patients will receive screening during the camp.
Patients recommended for further treatment will receive treatments at the designated centres which will be finalized by the doctors. Dr. JS Satya Narayana Murthy, Head of Cardiology Department will be leading a team of senior surgeons like Dr. Vanaja, Dr. T. Periyasamy, Dr. R. Jebaraj, Dr. Nithesh Kumar A, Dr. Lakshmi Durga Kumaraguruparan, MS B. Malathy and MS L. Gokulalakshmi.
