The newly appointed Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Md Mustafizur Rahman presented his credentials to the President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu today.
By welcoming and congratulating the new envoy, Droupadi Murmu has said that India-Bangladesh relations are bounded by language, culture, and history and the unique tie is forged in shared sacrifices.
She has said that Bangladesh occupies a special place in India’s ‘neighbourhood first’ policy and she looks forward to stronger and deeper cooperation between India and Bangladesh in all aspects in the coming days.
