On 10th December, 2022, BSF organized a welfare program for Shankar Mission Orphanage in the presence of Mrs Mukta Banerjee, President of BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) of Sector HQrs Krishnanagar. Sanjay Kumar, DIG, Sector HQrs Krishnanagar participated in the program along with officers, jawans and their family members of the force.
A colorful cultural program was also organized in this program which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children. Exciting games were also organized for the children of the orphanage and prizes were distributed to the winners. Apart from this, some necessary materials were also distributed to all the children.
Happiness was visible on the faces of the innocent
Expressing his gratitude to the BSF, the Principal Guru of Shankar Mission states that due to this social work done by BSF, the innocent children of this orphanage have a different happiness today. Further, he stated that along with the security of the country’s borders, BSF works to perform this type of social work very well.
Mukta Banerjee and Sanjay Kumar, DIG stated that BSF not only does its duty on the Border, but their family members also do various types of social work for orphans and needy children through BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) from time to time.
