On 15th December, 2022, AIDS Awareness Seminar was organized by the team of AIDS Control Foundation, NGO, Delhi at BSF Composite Hospital, Salt Lake under South Bengal Frontier.
BSF officers, doctors and jawans took part in this seminar. Dr. R K Verma of AIDS Control Foundation, NGO told the personnel of the force about the methods of prevention and prevention of AIDS through this seminar. He also explained the methods of spreading AIDS and also said that today a large population of the country is suffering from this dreadful disease. In this seminar, a short film related to prevention and prevention of AIDS was also shown to the personnel. The jawans of the force also cleared their doubt about this to the NGO team.
In the end Dr. Arup Kumar Gupta, DIG Medical thanked to AIDS Control Foundation, NGO team. He stated that all of us have benefited a lot from this seminar and have become more careful about this disease. He also stated that efforts are being made to completely eliminate the cases related to HIV. People are being made more aware by running such programs in many public places.
