Along with guarding the International Border, the Border Security Force organizes various programs from time to time to create awareness and enthusiasm for the security forces among the youth of the Border area. In this connection, an exhibition of weapons was organized on 16th December, 2022 from 1100 to 1600 hrs in various Border Posts of 82, 54, 08 and 68 Battalions deployed in the Border areas of Nadia and North 24 Parganas district under South Bengal Frontier. Apart from this, a documentary film of BSF was also shown to the school children.
A total of 376 students from various schools of the Border area took advantage of this exhibition and the Border residents appreciated this initiative of BSF.
The Public Relation Officer of South Bengal Frontier stated that the Border Security Force organizes various programs from time to time for the students living in the Border area to join the Indian forces, such as physical training, information about the recruitment process, classes for written examination, computer class, information about weapons etc.
