I. Syiem, Chairperson, State Commission for Protection of Child Rights today inaugurated the week-long celebration of National Girl Child Week 2023 under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) Scheme organised by the Social Welfare Department in collaboration with District Task Force, East Khasi Hills District.
Pravin Bakshi, Commissioner & Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya Social Welfare Department, Director Social Welfare, D. D. Shira and Shri S.C Sadhu, Deputy Commissioner East Khasi Hills District were also present on the occasion.
