The Governor was briefed on the aspects of operational preparedness, relentless commitment towards curbing illegal activities in the area of responsibility and nation-building measures being carried out by the Assam Rifles in the remote locations.
The Governor also interacted with the Ex-Servicemen of the area.
The efforts of the Serchhip Battalion of Assam Rifles were lauded by the Governor who also interacted with the troops of the Battalion.
