On the occasion of 74th Republic Day celebrations at New Delhi, the NER Directorate NCC contingent representing NCC Boys and Girls cadets of the seven sister states of north east India, participated in the Republic Day Parade and PM’s Rally.
As a matter of pride for the state of Assam, out of 120 NCC cadets, maximum participation was from the NCC units of Assam. To commemorate the same, the Chief Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, felicitated these highly motivated NCC cadets at a city hotel in Guwahati on 03 February 2023.
During the candid interaction with the NCC cadets, the Chief Minister of Assam shared his ‘Pearls of Wisdom’ with specific reference to various struggles in life and emphasized that no shortcuts in life can ever be a replacement for hard work.
The Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma congratulated the NCC cadets for this memorable achievement and further motivated and inspired the cadets to continue to excel in life. Present on the occasion were Brigadier Dinar Dighe, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarter, Guwahati, Brigadier Rajiv Kapoor, SM, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarter Jorhat and other officials .
