The Mayor’s Cup official Jersey was ceremoniously launched today by CAB President Snehasish Ganguly today at Eden Gardens.
Also present on the occasion were Vice-president Amalendu Biswas, Joint Secretary Debabrata Das, School Committee Chairman Sanjay Das and other members.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganguly urged the budding cricketers to give their best, hold on to their dreams and understand that this was the stepping stone to much bigger success. He urged them to play with dedication, discipline and determination.
The Mayor’s Cup gets underway tomorrow with 52 schools vying for the honours.
