Sikkim CM Minster Prem Singh Tamang called on the Union Home Minister Amit Shah at Parliament House, New Delhi in the presence of Speaker Sikkim Legislative Assembly Arun Upreti and Minister Bedu Singh Panth.
The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to the Union Home Minister for filing a review petition before the Supreme Court of India and for upholding the sentiments of the Sikkimese people.
Later Chief Minister said that the people of Sikkim respect the concern displayed by the Hon’ble Union Home Minister, the Ministry of Home Affairs, regarding the observations made in the recently pronounced judgment by the Supreme Court of India and are thankful for the support rendered to the state government.
