DPS Dibrugarh hosts exhibition on artificial intelligence and skilled-based education

Delhi Public School Dibrugarh on Saturday organised Umang – the annual exhibition, which showcased skill -based education like artificial intelligence, science innovation, media and communication building, ecological awareness, quiz and current affairs dance, music, art and craft.
Union Minister of states for petroleum and natural gas Rameswar Teli attended the event as chief guest where he emphasided on skill development and its relevance in the future. He lauded the efforts of DPS Dibrugarh for taking up skill based education and making students future – ready. He also appreciated the role of DPS Pro-Vice Chairman Sanjay Jain for building a world class infrastructure with elite faculties for holistic development of the children in Dibrugarh district. Board member Banita Jain, faculties of DPS, students and teachers of DPS Dibrugarh and several other schools were among those who attended the exhibition which was put up by students of playgroup to class 8.
DPS Pro Vice Chairman Sanjay Jain in his speech stressed on the importance of skill building as an integral part of education. He also spoke about the relevance of artificial intelligence (AI) which has become a catch-all term for applications that perform complex tasks that once required human input.
Artificial intelligence which is a field of science is concerned with building computers and machines that can reason, learn, and act in such a way that would normally require human intelligence or that involves data whose scale exceeds what humans can analyze.
