In the border area of Nadia district, the troops of the Border Security Force showing the spirit of cooperation and security, took a woman suffering from labor pain to the hospital where the woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
On February 06, 2023, at around 0015 hours, the village panchayat member of Ramnagar requested Commander of Border Out Post Ramnagar, that Pooja Haldar wife of Subal Haldar was suffering from labor pain and Vehicle is required for hospitalization . BSF Vehicle along with Nursing Assistant and Lady constable immediately sent to Pooja Halder’s house. From there woman suffering from labor pain evacuated to the Community Health Center, Bagula, where the doctor on duty immediately admitted her after preliminary examination. Later the woman gave birth to a healthy baby girl.
Family members expressed heartfelt gratitude to the BSF for timely help.
The Public Relation Officer of South Bengal Frontier told that the evervigilant Border Security Force troops guarding frontiers of nation always ready to help the people living in the border area and work as guardians.
