On 21st February, 2023, a medical camp was organized by the Border Out Post Banpur, 54 Battalion under South Bengal. The medical camp was organized in the presence of Medical Officer. Approximately 240 villagers from villages Kulupada, Banpur and Matiyari were medically examined, and free medicines were distributed to them. During the camp, special information about cleanliness was given to the villagers.
In addition to medical assistance, the students of the village were given writing and sports material, and the youth club of the villages was also given sports material. The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Border Security Force for this work and stated that the BSF keeps on doing such programs from time to time.
The main objective of organizing this program is to strengthen the faith, cooperation, and mutual coordination of the force in the hearts of the Border residents, which is very important for ensuring national security.
The Public Relations Officer of the Border Security Force stated that such initiatives are an integral part of the BSF’s community outreach program.The BSF is committed to the welfare of the border residents and will continue to organize such programs in the future to ensure the well-being of the people living in border areas.
