In Meghalaya, the ruling party NPP is going the single-largest party in the state by winning 25 of the 60 seats, BJP has 1wins, leads in 3; UDP wins 9; Congress bags 4 and TMC wins 3 and leading in 2 seats s counting for the February 27 is underway.
Incumbent Chief Minister Conrad Sangma won the South Tura Constituency,former Chief Minister Mukul Sangma won the Songsak Constituency and also lost from the Tilrikilla constituency.
Conrad Sangma thanked the voter of Meghalaya. Sangma said, “We would like to thank the people of the state for having voted for us. We are short on a few numbers, so we’ll wait for the final results to come out. We will see what next steps are to be taken based on the final results,”.
