BSF ORGANIZES FREE VETERINARY CAMP FOR ANIMALS OF BORDER RESIDENTS ON INDO-BANGLADESH BORDER; CIVIC ACTION PROGRAM ALSO ORGANIZED

The Border Security Force (BSF) organized a free veterinary camp for the animals of border residents on the Indo-Bangladesh border. The event took place on March 11, 2023, at Harishchandrapur High School. A team of BSF and civil veterinary doctors examined and treated about 70 animals, and free medicines were distributed to the animals. People from the border villages Harishchandrapur, Agra, Jagjivanpur, and Ghoshpara took advantage of this camp. The BSF distributed medicines worth Rs 19,157/- in the camp.

Civic action program also organized

The Civic Action Program was also organized by the troops of Border Out Post Muchia, 44 Battalion. Hundreds of people from nearby villages Muchia, Kistopur, Indira Colony, Kumarpur, Adampur, and Chaudharypada benefited from the program. Various essential household items worth about Rs 1,42,630/- were distributed by BSF, including R O filters and water coolers, water storage tanks, and sports items for the youth.

The border residents appreciated BSF for organizing these camps and hoped that such camps would continue to be organized in the future.

The spokesperson of South Bengal Frontier stated that such programs would continue to be organized in the future also. He also stated that such events create a good image of the force and develop a sense of security among the border residents and the force.The Border Security Force (BSF) has always been doing its best for the welfare of the border dwellers in the border areas, along with the security of the international border.
