By profession as a teacher and a poet Sikkim Neelam Gurung emerged winner of first Nepali Poetry Reality Show which was held in Kathmandu the capital of Nepal.
Neelam hails from Tadong, Gangtok.
She gets awards of a Trophy, Cash Prize Rs 1 Million Nepalese Money and Rs 5 Lakh contract for book publishing from Yatra Publishing House.
The winner was selected based on audience voting. More than 200 participants from all over the world had registered for the reality show, among which 14 poets were shortlisted for the final stage.
