Two days International Dance and Music festival started at Guwahati on Saturday.
The first day of international dance and music festival ends at district library’s auditorium on Saturday. The 4th Edition of International Indian Dance and Music Festival, an initiative by Projexel Foundation’s Founder Director Seema Purkayastha Roy. On the very auspicious Day of World Dance Day. About 200 participants take part in the festival and come from different parts of India and International participants from Bangladesh also.
At the end of the program each participant was awarded with Mementos and certificate of appreciation.
About Eight Dance Guru’s were also awarded with the Guru Samman Nritya Ujjesh Award in presence of all the dignitaries.
On the Second day of the programme lifetime awards will be given to distinguished personalites in various fields for special contribution to the society in the memory of famous Manipuri dance artist late Guru Satyajit Sinha.
