BSF IN COLLABORATION WITH PLAN INDIA NGO MADE BORDER SCHOOL STUDENTS AWARE OF CHILD CRIMES

The Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of BSF’s 82 Battalion and 54 Battalion under South Bengal Frontier, in collaboration with Plan India NGO, organized a program to raise awareness about child crimes for students in the area of border out post Mahakhola, 82 Battalion.

 

The event was attended by members of the Anti Human Trafficking Unit of BSF, Plan India NGO, and members of the Hatkhola village, including women and school students. The awareness campaign was aimed at educating the community about social evils like human trafficking, child marriage, child labor, child sexual abuse, and gender discrimination.

The event was a success, and the attendees appreciated the efforts made by BSF and Plan India NGO to educate the community about child crimes. The program has helped to raise awareness and empower the community to take action against these social evils.

The spokesperson of BSF South Bengal Frontier emphasized the importance of such programs and stated that the BSF is committed to preventing human trafficking and child crimes. The organization has been conducting awareness campaigns in various border areas in collaboration with NGOs, with the goal of curbing heinous crimes like child crimes and human trafficking.
