A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed earlier today, between the Indian Army and the Dhubri Medical College and Hospital, at Dhubri. With the signing of this MOA between the Regional Centre (ECHS), Guwahati and Principal-cum Superintendent of the Dhubri Medical College & Hospital, doors will now open for all ECHS beneficiaries and their dependents, for availing Cashless and Cap less treatment all types of ailments at the latest fully equipped hospital at reasonable rates. This MOA will alleviate the problem of veterans from Dhubri, who until now had to travel over 250 Kms to Guwahati to avail specialist medical care.
The empanelment of Dhubri Medical College & Hospital is part of the ongoing drive of Eastern Command, HQ 101 Area Shillong and Regional Centre (ECHS), Guwahati, to get maximum Govt & Private Hospitals in the NE region into the folds of ECHS through empanelment so as to extend the benefits of quality and specialist medical cover for the ECHS beneficiaries of the three services and Assam Rifles.
