In Assam Seven Students were killed in a Road Accident

Seven students of Assam Engineering College were killed and six others were injured at Jhalukbari in Guwahati on Sunday night at 12.30 A.M.

According to police, one speedy four-wheeler which was coming from the Azara area crossed over the divider and crashed into a goods carrier vehicle on the opposite lane.

A case has been lodged and further investigation is underway.

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his condolences on the incident.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Extremely anguished by the loss of young and precious lives in the road accident at Jalukbari. My deepest condolences to their parents and families. Have spoken to authorities at GMCH. All possible medical assistance is being provided to those injured.”

Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the site of the accident at  Jalukbari.

Raj Kiran Bhuyan
Imon Baruah
Arindam Bhowal
Upanshu Sharma
Niyar Deka.
