The Indian Air Force (IAF) has deployed Mi-17 helicopters for evacuation of casualties.
IAF is co- ordinating the rescue efforts with the civil administration and Indian Railways.
02 MI-17 helicopters have been positioned for relief and rescue operations by IAF. The operations ar being carried out in co- ordination with Railway authorities on ground. Exact location of the Helicopters and deployment information can be obtained from Indian railways.
