On June 17′ 2023, an awareness program on the subject of “Human Trafficking, Child Sexual Abuse, Exploitation and Co-ordination” was Organized by 70 Battalion BSF under South Bengal Frontier jointly with “Shakti Vahini”(NGO) Malda at “Green Land ( R) Academy (sahabajpur) Kaliyachak”, Malda.
Sahidul Islam and Staffs of NGO Shakti Vahini, Head master,15 teachers, and 95 girls students of the Sahabajpur “Greeland (R) Academy” took part in the Program.
The teachers and students appreciated and thanked BSF and NGO for conducting such activities to promote awareness among the students.
A spokesperson from BSF, South Bengal Frontier emphasized the significance of such programs, underscoring the organization’s unwavering commitment to preventing human trafficking and child crimes. In conjunction with NGOs, the BSF conducts awareness campaigns in various border areas to combat serious offenses like juvenile delinquency, cyber crime, and human trafficking.
