Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma met renowned filmmaker from Meghalaya Dominic Megam Sangma on Friday.
Taking to Twitter, Mehhalaya CM Conrad Sangma Tweeted, “Renowned filmmaker from Meghalaya, Dominic Megam Sangma met me today and gave me the honour of releasing the poster of his feature film ‘Rapture’ which has been selected at the distinguished Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland in a world competition in Concorso Cineaste del Presente section.
CM also mentioned in Twitter, ” This is another feather to Dominic’s creative hat after his first feature film, Ma.Ama became the 1st Garo film to win the National Award, including ‘Best Cinematography Award’ at the 22nd Shanghai International Film Festival in 2019. My best wishes to him and his team! “
Dominic Sangma, an internationally acclaimed Garo director and one of the most prominent filmmakers from Meghalaya.
His feature film ‘Rapture’ which has been selected at the distinguished Locarno Film Festival, Switzerland in a world competition in Concorso Cineaste del Presente section.
