The Congress MP from Assam Gaurav Gogoi on Wednesday moved a no Confidence motion against Narendra Modi Government.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla accepted the no-confidence motion moved by Gaurav Gogoi.
Gaurav Gogoi son of the former Chief Minister of Assam Lt Tarun Gogoi and in 2019, Gaurav is elected Lok Sabha member from Assam Kaliabor Constituency. Gaurav is also the deputy leader of the Indian National Congress in Lok Sabha.
The no-trust motion notice was at today 9.20 a.m. at the Lok Sabha table office.
The total strength of the present Lok Sabha is NDA 331 members, INDIA Alliance 144 and Bharat Rashtra Samithi of KCR in Telangana, YSRCP of YS Jagan Reddy’s in Andhra Pradesh, and BJD of Naveen Patnaik’s in Odisha have combined strength of 70.
