Plantation is very important for the earth. Trees are the basis of life and help in maintaining the safety, balance and calmness of the earth. Planting trees produces oxygen in the atmosphere, which is life saving for us. Also, trees provide natural habitat and preserve wildlife.
In this connection, on 18th August, 2023 at 1000 hrs, Ayush Mani Tiwari, IPS, Inspector General, South Bengal Frontier, along with senior officers and jawans of the force planted different types of fruit and shade trees under ‘Akhil Bhartiya Plantation- 2023’ in the premises of Frontier Headquarters South Bengal.
Ayush Mani Tiwari, IPS, Inspector General stated that planting more and more trees is an important step for human life and we all should contribute in this. He stated that this would help in ensuring a healthy and safe future for our coming generations. He also stated that we should plant more and more trees during the rainy season.
