On 26th August ,2023 Don Bosco School, Silchar organised the ‘Inter-School Science, Social Science and Environmental science exhibition’.
The main aim of the exhibition was to remind all about the importance of science and technology and to enhance our outlook on culture, tradition and history.There were various concepts for students. A total of 12 schools from in and around Silchar took part in the exhibition.
The exhibition opened our eyes towards the fact that technology is making it a better place for us. They also made us aware of how sometimes the evolving technology can help those who worked really hard to earn their pay. The technology and manpower should walk along each other. It also took gave us a peek into history.
A lot of the students showcased their science projects and our principal, Rev. Father Surjit Tigga was personally present there to give them positive feedback and motivate them to do better.
The inaugural programme was held in the morning with a few cultural items. The chief guest spoke at the end and made us aware about. Medals and certificates were distributed to children who performed well in the exhibition.
It was an amazing experience that improved our knowledge and skills.

Principal of Don Bosco School Father Surjit Tigga, among teachers Rumli Chakraborty, Moni Bhushan Choudhury, Sumit Singha, Joydeep Dhar, Ratna Ghosh, Antara Purkayastha, Manoj Das, Prabir Singha and others were present in today’s event.
