Based on a reliable inputs pertaining to presence of war like stores in Champirok, near Khongnangpokpi, Imphal West a joint team of Assam Rifles, Imphal West Commando team & Sekmai Police conducted a search Operation on 30 Aug 23 and recovered one M16 Rifle, one 12 Bore Single Barrel Gun, two 9mm Pistol, eight No 36 Hand Grenades, ten Grenade Launching Tubes, Two INSAS Rifle Magazines, Thirty rounds of ammunition, and war like stores. The seized weapons, ammunition and control stores were handed over to Sekmei Police Station.
