MoU signed between Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya and Airbus

In a historic moment, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya today signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus to strengthen and provide more gati to the aviation industry and other sectors of the transportation industry.

This industry academic partnership will enable core development and core delivery of sector relevant skilling courses and programmes for regular students and working professionals, joint research and industry experiences for faculty, internships and placement for students and scholarship programmes.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Manoj Choudhury, Vice Chancellor, Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya and Remi Maillard, President & Managing Director Airbus, India & South Asia in presence of  Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister for Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Smt. Jaya Varma Sinha, Chairperson & Chief Executive Officer, Railway Board and other Railway Board Members.

Speaking on the occasion,Ashwini Vaishnaw,said that this partnership will create a new record in the transportation and logistics sector which will change the working culture in India. This MoU is a step towards Industry – Academics partnership which is envisioned in the National Education Policy.

Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya,  a vision of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi , is India’s first University exclusively focused on transport-related education, multidisciplinary research and training.
