Army Institute of Nursing, Basistha, Guwahati organized a Regional workshop from 8 to 9 September 2023 on the topic “Curriculum Development & Measurement and Evaluation”.
The aim of the workshop was to develop a clearer understanding of what curriculum development & measurement and evaluation entails and also to know various strategies for actively engaging teachers and students in their teaching, learning, to improve and develop their knowledge base for the profession and practice.
Around 148 delegates attended the workshop. Renowned national speakers Lt Col Manonmani Venkat (Retd) SOMI National Advisor and Dr. Sunil Kalekar, Assistant Professor, Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, Pune were invited as resource persons and briefed on Basic concept of measurement and Evaluation, Standardized and Non Standardized tools / tests, Administration, scoring and reporting, curriculum development, Formulation of philosophy, objectives, selection and organization of learning experience and Evaluation of curriculum.
Brig Chetan Sood Commandant 151 Base Hospital and Director AIN presided over the function as Chief Guest and inaugurated the Regional workshop by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Mrs. Madhavi Sood and Principal Matron 151 Base Hospital attended the inauguration ceremony.
The workshop was well attended and appreciated by nursing fraternity including educators, PG nursing students from all over North East. Workshop report was presented and certificate was given away to the delegates at the valedictory session.
