Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters IGAR (South), extended support to displaced families by distributing sports equipment and essential supplies in three relief camps located in Churachandpur on September 11, 2023.
This initiative aimed to provide moral support and inspire the youth among the displaced communities residing at North Eastern Academy Relief Camp, ITI Saikot Relief Camp, and Zomunnuam Community Hall. The distribution of sports equipment and essential materials is part of Assam Rifles’ ongoing commitment to offer humanitarian aid and foster a sense of security and belonging among those affected. Assam Rifles remains devoted to assisting local administration in restoring peace and normalcy to the region.
