Assam Rifles under the Aegis of Headquarters IGAR (South) organized a Security Meet with village chiefs and Kuki Women Union at Village Tuitam Khongkhai, Churachandpur on 17th September 2023.
A total of 24 members including President and Secretary of Kuki Women Union, Solam Haopi Area and village chiefs attended the meeting. It was conveyed by the members that Assam Rifles has been instrumental in restoration of law and order in the area which are worst hit by the ethnic clashes. Assam Rifles have assisted state agencies in maintaining peace.
The area has been peaceful even in such harsh and difficult situation. Various others issues related to Solam Haopi area were discussed and resolved in the meeting.
