Assam Rifles with the aim to continue its mission to bridge the gap between civilians and the military organised the “Know Your Army Mela,” to disseminate amongst children and youth the myraid aspects of army life, its operating credo and the multiple schemes available for entry to encourage them to join the forces.
As part of this initiative, weapon display followed by an enlightening lecture on weaponry was held on at T Minou. 25 enthusiastic individuals attended the event, which aimed to provide valuable insights into the army’s equipment and operational capabilities.
The weapon display showcased a wide array of military weapons, offering attendees a rare opportunity to see and touch the equipment used by our brave soldiers.
