Assam Rifles organised friendly football matches at Chandrakhong on 24 September 2023 in Thoubal District of Manipur to boost the bonhomie between locals and Security Forces through Sportsmanship. During this event a total of 04 teams participated and three matches were played. Bolero FC Charangpat, Top FC Chingtha Chandrakhong FC and Daring Delta ex Security Forces were among the participants.
The event witnessed tremendous enthusiasm and cheering for all teams finally culminating into The Top FC team of Chinghai, Yaripok winning the match with 2-1 Goals against Assam Rifles team . Approx 300 Locals from vicinity witnessed the winning moments followed by prize distribution ceremony.
. The village headmen, Members of Football clubs and local populace thoroughly enjoyed the event organised by Assam rifles for their valuable contribution in boosting the morale of people during the prevailing Internal Security situation in state.
