The Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South), orchestrated an enlightening awareness program focused on careers in the Armed Forces. This initiative manifested through a compelling lecture, held on the 26th of September 2023, in the Village Z Khunou, Singhat Subdivision of Churachandpur district.
The significance of timely and accurate career guidance cannot be overstated, as it possesses the remarkable potential to channel the vigour of our youth onto the righteous path, replete with ample opportunities. This endeavour aspired to nurture a society that is not only developed but also rich in resourcefulness. The lecture extended its reach to families and youth alike, offering invaluable insights into the manifold benefits of enlisting in the Armed Forces, such as fostering leadership, discipline, and unwavering determination. Moreover, the event assumed a dual role, emphasizing the pressing need to shield our youth from the clutches of anti-social activities and the grip of tobacco addiction. It underscored the imperative of engaging them in the noble cause of national upliftment and betterment.In parallel, the Assam Rifles orchestrated enthralling volleyball matches in the locales of Bonjang and Kwatha. These sporting spectacles served as a showcase of communal collaboration, igniting the flames of unity and well-being within the heart of Village Bongjang and Kwatha.Noteworthy performances graced the courts in Bongjang, where the Bongjang Organization’s team and the local youth of Village Bongjang demonstrated their spirited prowess.
Conversely, at Tengnoupal, Assam Rifles joined the mission to sculpt a drug-free India. They hosted a friendly volleyball match, extending an inviting hand to the youth of Village Kwatha in Tengnoupal District. Aligned with the cause of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, this event sought to combat the scourge of drug abuse, steering our young minds toward the uplifting realm of sports.The volleyball matches transcended the confines of the sports arena as they seamlessly take on as an effective platform for propagating awareness regarding the dire consequences of drug abuse. In sum, a total of 50 individuals actively participated in these heartening volleyball matches, while an engaged audience of over 100 gathered in both locations to witness these transformative events.
