Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter IGAR (S) conducted a motivational lecture on ‘Join Indian Army and Assam Rifles’ at Aina village Churachandpur district on 29th September 2023.
The lecture was organised to spread awareness amongst the youth about various opportunities to join Indian Army and Assam Rifles. The youth were given information about the upcoming recruitment opportunities and assured of assistance and guidance from security forces to achieve their dream to serve the nation. A total of twenty four youth attended the event.
To further the aim of developing the youth of the locality holistically, Assam Rifles organised Football Tournament at Village Beheng, district Churachandpur with effect from 23 Sep 2023 with an aim to connect with the youth of the area and to promote sports culture in remote border villages. A whopping 14 teams participated in the tournament.
At Tengnoupal District, Assam Rifles organised a Friendly Football match with the youth of Village Saibol, Yangkhul and Sharon on 30th September 2023.
The match aimed at promoting Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan in a bid to raise awareness against Drugs and guide the youth towards sports and better outlets.
Additionally, the event helped towards building good relations and bonhomie amongst the Troops and villagers.
At the end of the match, Assam Rifles organised light refreshments for the villagers and the teams. A total of 30 villagers participated in the said match with an audience of over 50 persons.
